Learn the game of basketball and the fundamentals involved in this basketball program designed specifically for kids ages 4-6. This league will consist of a combination of practicing basketball skills and applying learned skills in a game.

This will be run in a similar fashion to summer t-ball, where (depending on numbers) each meeting will be a combination of practices and games. All meetings will take place on Saturday mornings from 8:30am-9:15am at the Community Center Gym starting January 11th and ending March 15th. As part of registration, all participants will receive a Meadows basketball jersey that is theirs to keep!

Develop an understanding for the game of basketball in our 1st and 2nd grade recreational division for boys and girls. This league is in partnership with Palatine Park District. In this league, 1st grade will be separate from 2nd grade! Participants will practice individual skills, game situations and strategies while maintaining good sportsmanship and a fun environment. Practices will be once per week during the week on any day Monday-Thursday at any of the following locations: Community Center, Conyers, Kimball Hill School, Carl Sandburg, or St. Colette. Practices are scheduled to start at the beginning of January and lasting through the middle of March. Games will be played on Saturdays in Rolling Meadows or in Palatine.

The High School Basketball league is for grades 9-12. Players must register on their own but can still form their own teams. Open to any high school aged participants who are NOT part of their high school basketball teams. League will be in conjunction with Palatine Park District with games being played at the Community Gym in Palatine on Sundays between 9am-2pm.
