Welcome to the home page of Rolling Meadows Park District Youth Football and Cheer. We provide opportunities for grades K-6 to participate in Flag Football, grades 5-8 in Tackle Football and grades K-8 in Cheer.
Home games and practices take place at Rolling Meadows High School and we compete against surrounding communities.
Girls Flag Football
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION: NEW THIS FALL! Flag football is a great place for boys and girls to learn the fundamentals of football in a tackle-free zone while they also gain confidence, learn how to be part of a team, and build character. The logistics of this league are still being finalized, but there will be teams from surrounding communities. Flag football is for those entering 3rd grade through 8th grade.
PRACTICE/GAME TIMES: Practices will be once a week with games on the weekend. Practices start in the middle of August and the season will run through the end of October. The league will be played with the surrounding communities in the northwest suburbs.
AGES: 3rd - 8th Grade

Tackle Football
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION: Tackle football is a great place for boys and girls to gain confidence, learn how to be part of a team, and build character. Games will be played Saturdays/Sundays in Rolling Meadows and surrounding communities in the TCYFL League.
PRACTICE/GAME TIMES: Practices will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm. Practices start July 30th and will end the second week of November. Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays in Rolling Meadows and surrounding communities in the northwest suburbs.
AGES: 9 - 12

Flag Football
LEAGUE DESCRIPTION: Flag football is a great place for boys and girls to learn the fundamentals of football in a tackle-free zone while they also gain confidence, learn how to be part of a team, and build character. Games will be played on Saturdays in Rolling Meadows or in the surrounding communities within the northwest suburbs. Flag football is for those entering Kindergarten through 6th grade.
Leagues will be split in this manner: Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, and 5th/6th grade.
PRACTICE/GAME TIMES: Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30pm. Practices start August 6th and will end the first week of November. Games will be on Saturdays in Rolling Meadows and surrounding communities in the northwest suburbs.

Cheerleading
DESCRIPTION: Show off your team spirit in sideline cheer for the Rolling Meadows Youth Football teams! Cheerleading is a great place for kids to gain confidence, learn how to be a part of a team, and build character. Cheerleaders are expected to attend 1-2 practices a week and 8-10 games during the season. Games will be on Saturdays/Sundays in Rolling Meadows and surrounding communities throughout the northwest suburbs.
PRACTICE/GAME TIMES: Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30pm (until 7pm for Kindergarten on both nights). Practices start July 30th and will end the first week of November. Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays in Rolling Meadows and surrounding communities in the northwest suburbs.

Calling All Volunteer Coaches!
Rolling Meadows Youth Football and Cheer program heavily relies on volunteer coaches for the success of the program each year. Interested in volunteering? Please start by filling out the Volunteer Coaching Application Form and email our Athletics Supervisor Bryce Bilodeau with any questions during the process.
Coaches that volunteer will receive a discount code to use on a future athletic league registration!
